ICTAM04 INVITED AND CONTRIBUTED PRESENTATIONS

INVITED PAPERS

The 38 invited one hour lectures will be published in a hard-cover book of ICTAM04 Proceedings published by Kluwer/Springer Academic Publishers, Netherlands. Authors are asked to use Kluwer template when preparing their manuscripts. Please limit your contribution to 12 pages of the template format. The final deadline for manuscript submission is October 30, 2004. Please do not exceed it. The PDF file should be send to the ICTAM04 Secretary General, preferable by email using following email address: ictam04@fluid.ippt.gov.pl.
For editorial corrections we need also a single file version of your text in the native format (e.g. *.doc for Word) and files of any graphics, if applicable. We may require harcopy of all materials to be send by post as well. Copyright statement (below) should be send to editors as well.

CONTRIBUTED PAPERS

The contributed papers were invited for presentation at the congress after two or three steps reviewing procedure. The distribution of invitations relied on recomendations given by the International Papers Committee, which was appointed by the Executive Committee of the Congress Committee of IUTAM. In January 2004 the ICTAM04 organizers received 2183 extended summaries of contributed presentations, of which 2085 were suitable for reviewing. On March 30 the process of reviewing the contributed papers was accomplished and 1572 contributions were accepted for presentation by the International Papers Committee. Finally 1364 contributed papers confirmed for presentation were included in the provisional program. Final counting shows that 1298 contributed papers were presented during the congress. All presented contributed papers* as well as 38 plenary lectures are displayed on the webpage. The sub-menu statistics offers details about number of paper presented in each Prenominated Session and originating from each country.

The papers confirmed for presentation are included in the ICTAM04 Abstracts and CD-ROM Proceedings, ISBN 83-89687-01-1, published by IPPT PAN, Warsaw 2004. The book (466 pages) includes short abstracts, and extended summaries on the CD-ROM. Additional copies of the book are available and can be ordered by ICTAM04 organizers.
